My Pentium 4  running WinXP Pro finally went to that silicon valley in the sky! Time to upgrade. :)  Do I want to order a pre-built system like a HP or Dell or should I piece something together?  I would save some money if I order the parts online, but I  was dead in the waters and needed a workstation. Security through obscurity

I'm a curious person at heart and when I see somthing I like, I'll dive in deeper to see how it was done.  In this case, I went to a local aquarium store's website to see what they offer online just to find that their site is still under construction.  The site was nice looking and I wanted to see if they built the site using pure CSS or the old way with tables... after looking at the source, I noticed an image map with a link going to "admin" - Naturally I had to see where this went.

I loathe my Mother-in-Law!

Let me start off by saying that my mother-in-law is the most despicable person I've ever met!  She has been diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder (BPD)* and refuses to get treatment for it.   She was diagnosed with this disorder a few years ago by her doctor and refuses to believe she has it.  This is one of the symptoms of this disorder..

Operation Repo is fake

One of my favorite reality shows turns out to be completely fake.  Operation Repo is show on TruTV (formerly CourTV) where a team of reposession agents go around repossessing vehicles for finance companies.  Everytime I watch the show, one of the guys (Matt) is always roughing someone and I always wonder how they get away with it..

The Swine Flu seems to keep spreading and has already infected 160 people in the USA and there's already been 1 death.  All of the people infected either visited Mexico or was in contact with someone that just came back from there.  Check out this site and read up on how you can protect yourself from the swine flu and other viruses.

Microsoft Windows 7 will be free for one year!

On May 5, 2009, Microsoft will offer their new operating system, Windows 7, for free!  The version they will be releasing is the Release Candidate which is very close to the final version.  From what I've read, Windows 7 does everything Vista was suppose to do.  There has been nothing but positive reviews for Windows 7.  This is a very smart move of Microsoft to do since Vista was hated across the PC world.  SO, if you're tired of your bloated Vista operating system, head over to Microsoft to down

Problem installing Adobe Air programs?

I've recently ramped up my Twitter activity and realized that there were a lot of programs out there to help you 'tweet' or 'twatter' :P.  Most of the apps are written with Adobe Air so you'll need that to run programs like Twhirl or Yahoo's Sideline.  So I installed Adobe Air and then proceeded to install Twhirl just to get the following error:

"Something went wrong trying to install this application.  Please install the latest version of Adobe AIR from http://www.adobe.com/go/getair and then try again."

Is Google penalizing affiliate sites?

I've noticed a few weird things happening recently with one of my sites where I push a lot of Amazon baby seats (Britax car seats).  The site always ranked on the 1st page for all of the Britax car seat keywords and just recently I fell back to pages 7 to 10 on Google SERPs.  BuyBritax.com has all orginal content on it and there's only 1 outbound link to the Amazon product.  I started to notice a drop in traffic and sales everytime Google slapped the site.    The site would dissappear from the SERPs fo
